Tracy Host - Fine Art

Einstein described art as an irresistible urge. Tracy chose to express this urge by allowing the painting to choose its own path. Heavily influenced by the school of abstract expressionism, her non-representational work is a coupling of bold colors and lyrical lines.

When an idea, thought, or memory presents itself to Tracy, she employs various artistic elements to give it life. Her paintings express their personalities through color either washed across the canvas or applied in thick layers to the surface. Movement is established with the element of line. Sometimes demanding in nature, the line work in her paintings directs the viewer’s eye.

Tracy has worked as a professional artist for most of the past ten years. Her work is included in private collections across the nation. She is represented by galleries and art brokers in Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia.
